MADE bling will restore your Christmas spirit

By Nina Carapetyan

Published on December 13, 2007

Ah, Christmas time. The whole family gets together, gathers around the fireplace, and sings carols while decorating the Christmas tree. What? You don’t have a fireplace? Your family consists entirely of parents who preach the Apocalypse and three neurotic aunts who gnaw on their fingernails until blood colors their teeth?

.

Well, postpone your sense of doom this holiday season by getting into the festive spirit and decorating your tree with the Yuletide baubles and bling at the Ornament Exhibition and Sale, where you can get your mittens on unique Christmas ornaments, all handmade by local artists and crafters. Net proceeds go to the Phoenix Elementary School District to support arts programming.

Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Dec. 26-29, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Starts: Dec. 8. Continues through Dec. 22, 2007
