Enthusiasts make half-tracks to Papago

Our locks dip below our shoulders and our T-shirt features an image of Dubya and Cheney man-hugging beneath the catch phrase "Meet the Fuckers," so we're probably not the target demo for the folks behind the Papago Military Vehicle Show. But even conscientious objectors should dig the unusual antique and vintage conveyances on display at the 17th annual event, which is co-hosted by the Arizona National Guard and the Arizona Military Vehicle Collectors Club. Also on the agenda are an Andrews Sisters-style performance by the Maule Sisters, a no-vehicle military-surplus auction, and an indoor swap meet.
