Inferno

While it might be a little chilly outside this weekend, with nighttime temperatures dipping into the 40s, local beat-slinger extraordinaire DJ Spyder and a crew of torrid turntablists are gonna be heating things up on Saturday, January 26, at Inferno, a new monthly dance night at Chasers, 8005 East Roosevelt Street in Scottsdale. A four-alarm firestorm of electronic dance music will rage throughout the East Valley nightspot, as Spyder will drop some of the hottest mixes of progressive house and techno on the crowd, while Brook B. scorches your eardrums with darkly twisted electro-tech, and Overmind Works' Hahn the Barbarian blasts out the psytrance and psychedelic jams. Dubbed as an "interactive party that is sure to stimulate the senses and ignite the flesh," the 21-and-over event will also feature the sultry Mistress V. serving as hostess for the evening, as well as several "play" areas provided by the fetish freaks of Hardware Creations. The heat wave starts at 9 p.m. with an $8 cover. Visit www.myspace.com/infernoarizona.
