You win a jillion dollars in the lottery. First order of business? 48-hour bender of cocaine and hookers, of course. But, after that, you want to invest in something that has sustainable value. So you shell out for a Van Gogh. Safe investment, right? Maybe not. Check out Phoenix Art Museum’s showing of Who the #$&% Is Jackson Pollock? The documentary tells the story of 73-year old Teri Horton, a former truck driver with an eighth-grade education, who bought a thrift store painting for five bucks and found out that the mess of pigment splats might be an original Jackson Pollock. Watch as she takes a stand against the art world and undercuts beliefs about the value of art.
