Siamese Kitchen

4352 W. Olive Ave.
(NW corner of 43rd Ave. and Olive)
Glendale, AZ 85302
623-931-3229
Terrific Thai food in a funky ambiance you won’t soon forget. Wood paneling circa 1970, black leather booths from the same era, and a wall-size photo of an autumnal forest with a stream and plank wooden mill make Siamese Kitchen look like some old mom-'n'-pop pancake house gone ethnic. After 9 on some nights, the whole restaurant shakes from the band playing at the country-western bar next door. But any inconvenience caused by this is more than counterbalanced by the outstanding Thai vittles prepared by Vanna Vorachitti, the most recent of five owners of this establishment. She makes killer Thai toast, and curries that’ll melt the buttons on your shirt. A real find. Put this place into heavy rotation and keep it there. Well worth a 30-minute drive from another part of town.
